Mr Junk handles the full job across Sydney. We dismantle or demolish the structure, load every last bit by hand, and take it away for sorting and disposal. You do not lift a thing, and you are not left staring at a pile of timber, thatch and rusty mesh wondering how to get rid of it.

We are set up for a proper load, not a single small item. If you have got the old Bali hut plus a heap of green waste, some broken pots and furniture.
We take the whole lot in one go, structure and clutter and green waste together. One decent clear-out beats works out cheaper than a return trip.

What We Can Remove

  • Old Bali huts. They look great for the first few summers, then the thatch starts to rot, the roof sags, and they turn into a home for spiders, possums and leaf litter.
  • Freestanding gazebos. A timber gazebo rots at the posts where it meets the ground, and older steel ones rust through until they are not safe to stand under.
  • Cubby houses and play sets. Once the kids have grown, a cubby just takes up space and slowly falls apart. We dismantle timber cubbies and flat-pack kits, swing sets and old trampolines, and haul them off in the same visit.
  • Garden sheds. Colorbond or timber, we pull the shed down and clear out whatever has been stored inside, which is usually the bigger part of the job.
  • Chicken coops and aviaries. Old coops and aviaries are fiddly things, full of wire, mesh and years of buildup. We remove the structure and clean out the run so the corner of the yard is usable again.
  • Old spa baths and hot tubs. A dead spa is heavy, bulky and a real pain to shift. We remove it, indoors or out. No calling three people to lift it.
  • Old fencing. Rotting timber palings, leaning posts, or old Colorbond panels coming down before a new fence goes in.

How the job runs

It is the same straightforward process every time.

  • We look and give you a price. Send through a few photos or we come and eyeball it, then you get an upfront quote with no surprises on the day.
  • We do the work. The crew dismantles or demolishes the structure, loads it by hand, and sweeps up after. You can be home or not, whatever suits.
  • It is gone. We sort what we can for recycling and take the rest to a licensed transfer station. You are left with a clear, open space, ready for the next part of your plan.
  • Most backyard structures are a same-day or next-day job. Bigger or trickier ones, say something tight against a fence line or fixed to a concrete base, we plan properly so it comes down safely and cleanly.

We can’t remove chemicals, cleaning liquids, fuel, gas bottles, or asbestos. These need to go to a licensed recycling centre or eco waste facility.
