What a Commercial Strip Out Includes
A commercial strip out with Mr Junk Rubbish Removal covers the removal and disposal of the tenant fitout. On most sites that includes:

What a Commercial Strip Out Does Not Include
Electrical, plumbing and gas services must be isolated and disconnected by a licensed tradesperson before we remove any fitout that is connected to them. We do not disconnect live services. Once your electrician, plumber or gas fitter has made the services safe, our crew removes the fitout. If you are unsure about the order of works, we can talk you through the sequence when you call.
Structural demolition is a separate question. If your strip out involves anything beyond the tenant fitout, we will explain what is in scope for us when we quote, so you know before the work is booked which parts need another contractor.

Office strip outs are usually larger and more complex than retail work. Partitioning systems, raised floors, suspended ceilings and built-in cabinetry across several rooms add up quickly, and the material is heavy and awkward to move through a building where other tenants may still be working.

The same rule about services applies here: any gas, plumbing or electrical connections to counters, benches or equipment are disconnected by your licensed trades before our crew starts. Make-Good Clauses and Handing Back Your Lease
Most commercial leases include a make-good clause, and what it asks for varies from lease to lease. Some leases require the space returned to its original condition, some require a standard the landlord approves, and others only require the removal of all tenant fixtures and fittings. Read your lease carefully, or ask your property manager or solicitor to confirm what is required, before the strip out is booked.

Where the Material From a Strip Out Goes

We aim to keep as much out of landfill as the condition of the material allows.
