No. Because the bag sits on your property — driveway, yard, or garage — rather than on a public road or council verge, no permit is required. This is one of the biggest advantages over a traditional skip bin, which often requires a council permit when placed on the street.

Take your time — there’s no daily hire rate or fixed return deadline. Fill it over a weekend, a week, or longer. Just book your collection when you’re ready and we’ll arrange a suitable pickup time. For tradie and commercial accounts, extended holds can be arranged.

The concrete bag is a 1m³ skip bag designed specifically for heavy inert waste — clean concrete, bricks, pavers, and tiles. It includes up to 1,000kg (one full tonne) It accepts concrete and similar heavy inert materials only, no mixed waste or general rubbish. Maximum weight is a hard cap at 1,000kg with no overweight surcharge. Particularly popular with tradies on demolition and renovation jobs.

Your bag is weighed on collection. If it comes in over your included weight allowance, we’ll send you a clear SMS and email within 24 hours: “Your bag came in at Xkg — Ykg over your included allowance. Overweight charge: $Z.” Standard waste is $55 per 100kg over allowance. Heavy waste (soil, bricks, concrete, tiles) is $35 per 100kg over. Most standard household and renovation jobs never trigger a surcharge.
