Council Cleanup:

  • 4 free pickups per calendar year
  • Maximum 3 cubic metres per booking
  • Must book online or call 1300 655 006
  • Wait times can apply – book in advance
  • Items can only be placed out the night before collection
  • Items placed out early may result in fines

What Council Accepts:

  • Mattresses and ensemble bases
  • Furniture (tables, chairs, sofas, wardrobes, bookshelves)
  • Whitegoods (fridges, washing machines, dryers)
  • Small appliances (vacuum cleaners, heaters, kettles, toasters, printers)
  • Gym equipment (bikes, treadmills, weight benches, trampolines)
  • Carpet and rugs (max 1.2m length)
  • BBQs (gas bottles removed)
  • Lawnmowers (fuel and oil emptied)

What Council Won’t Take:

  • TVs and computers (must go to CRC)
  • Building materials (bricks, doors, tiles, plasterboard, guttering
  • Timber, fencing, wooden pallets
  • Glass, mirrors, plate glass
  • Paints, chemicals, gas bottles
  • Car parts, batteries, tyres
  • Oversized items (baths, sinks, toilets, hills hoists
  • Green waste, tree stumps, branches
  • Items longer than 1.5m or heavier than 90kg

Yes! Timber, tiles, plasterboard, rubble, old fencing, doors, and general renovation debris. We can’t take asbestos, but almost everything else is fine. Council excludes all building materials – we don’t.
