Council Cleanup:

  • 2 ‘Your Call’ bookings per calendar year
  • Plus 1 scheduled collection (no booking required – check your date online)
  • Maximum 2 cubic metres per collection (2m x 1m x 1m)
  • Must book via online portal – min 48 hours notice to cancel/change
  • Placing items out without a booking = illegal dumping, fines up to $8,000

What Council Accepts:

  • Furniture and small appliances (toasters, kettles, blenders)
  • Whitegoods (fridges, washing machines – doors removed
  • Mattresses (limit 2 singles or 1 larger per collection)
  • Damaged household items too big for bins
  • Garden branches (under 10cm diameter, cut to 1m, bundled)
  • Mirrors (max 1m x 1m, wrapped in sheet/blanket)
  • Empty paint cans

What Council Won’t Take:

  • Batteries of any size or items containing batteries/motor
  • Hot water heaters, oil heaters
  • Paints, oils, gas cylinders, fire extinguishers
  • Building materials (bricks, concrete, tiles, sand, asbestos
  • Car parts, tyres
